Application for SSC Junior Engineer started: SSC Junior Engineer 2019

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for the post of Junior Engineer. This includes civil, electrical, mechanical, quantitative surveying and contracts trades. The application has started online from 1 February. Applications can be made by 25 February.

On the other hand, the application fee can be paid online till 27 February. Payment through challan can be made till 28 February. The Commission has not disclosed the number of vacancies, but has shared the information about the departments and institutions in which recruitment is to be done. A total of 20 organizations will be appointed. Both diploma and degree holders in the qualification can apply. Although the qualification is organization wise. Eligibility has been determined differently in different organizations. Recruitment will be on the basis of examination.

The exam for the first paper will be online from September 23 to 27. At the same time, the second paper (traditional) examination will be held on 29 December 2019. The first examination will be computer based. The examination of the second paper will be descriptive. In the first paper, apart from engineering, there will be questions from general area as well, including General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness. In the second paper, there will be questions solely from engineering. In Bihar, there will be examination centers in Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Patna and Purnia. In such a situation, the candidates of Bihar can give the examination center in their own state.
