Facebook launches a privacy and data use business hub
Facebook has marked the 2019 privacy day by reminding users to take a "privacy check", which will help them ensure that they do not inadvertently expose their data and profile.
The huge media has also revealed its privacy and data usage business hub, which even centralizes information about privacy policies, rules and principles, trust, transparency and regulatory information. The goal is to help businesses understand how the Facebook advertising system works, how they can protect information when using social media and meet the implications and requirements of data regulation such as the European Union and the GDPR.
The company has also paid some significant money through its bug bounty program. It has suspended data protection concerns, several applications on closed pages that are involved in impact operations, and even announced new measures to protect privacy.
"This year we will make more efforts to show how Facebook uses people's data and gives people greater transparency and control," said Erin Egan, Facebook's chief privacy officer.
