Introduction to Deep in Linux

Introduction to Deep in Linux

Technology Tuts Online issue articles will now be published on the Tech Marathi web site as well. Today's article is "Introduction to Deep in Linux!"

(First of all I would like to mention that deepin linux does not know if the pronunciation is deep or deep.

Deepin Linux is based on Ubuntu Linux - the company in China has created a deepin desktop environment (DDE). Deepen Linux has become very different due to DDE.

Depending on Ubuntu, all software available on Ubuntu is automatically available in Deepin, but only DDE is not much different in Deepin. Deepin team called Deepin Movie, Deepin Music, Deepin Game but software available in Deepin
Let us look at the software:

DDE has taken the good of different operating systems. E.g. As with Windows 8, there is a control panel on the right. When the mouse is moved to the lower right corner, the control center suddenly appears - a hint of hot corners. You can decide which program to start by moving the mouse to the far corner.
Like OS X is dock. Can start regular programs from the dock. In addition, the dock is used as a window task bar and system tray.

Here is the launcher instead of the usual menu. Launcher can be turned on by pressing the super key (Windows logo key). If the launcher opens, different groups have different programs (Internet, Games, Productivity, Utilities, System, etc.) If you know which program you want, type the program name followed by the super key. E.g. You do not need to search the Utilities group if you want to have a calculator or a text editor (gedit) turned on - just type calc or edi after the super key so that only a calculator or text editor is displayed.

Deepin Terminal is another program I like (but if you don't have to use Terminal, you probably don't care.)

Another very useful program is Deepins screenshot. You can turn on the launcher or with the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + A - then you can take a screenshot of the area you want. But not only that, screenshots can be more useful if you need them, with some arrows, squares, etc. on that screenshot.

Deepen Linux is not the only extension in this article, but on the go one would like to say that everyone who has seen me using Deep + Linux when using the super + tab says "What the heck, can this be done in windows?" Asked
Using the super + tab allows me to navigate through the various programs that are currently running. If you used alt + tab in windows, then you would definitely like super + tab.
Is Deepin Linux Perfect? So, of course not. Deepen's 8th edition was a bit unstable, it didn't have good support for the Devanagari script, but there are a lot of improvements in 3.2. The Devanagari script is also supported by ibus (this article I wrote using Deepin 1.0)
There is another possibility for improvement - that is, the language barrier. Since Deepin was developed in China, most of the information is in Chinese. But those who develop Deepin know this question - their employees are training English.
